10 Campsites with electric (30amp/50amp) and water (non-potable) on 2000 acres of water on the Wisconsin River and Lake Mohawksin

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. No littering, please make sure all refuse is placed in provided containers.
  2. Please observe the 10mph speed limit.  Only street registered motor vehicles are allowed in the campsite area.
  3. Pet Policy: 2 pets per site. $3 for each additional pet (4 pets max). Pets must be on a leash when outside of vehicles.  Owners are responsible for immediately removing animal feces for the grounds. 
  4. Quiet time is 10:00pm to 6:00am.  No generators.  Please be considerate of your fellow campers.
  5. Campfires are required to be in the fire rings.  Please do not move fire ring.
  6. Camping and parking in designated areas only.
  7. No cutting of trees or damage to the equipment.
  8. No holding tank sewage may be dumped in the park.  A sewage dump station is located at the Tomahawk City garage at 415 W Spirit Ave.
  9. In time is 12:00pm, out time is 11:00am.  Fees are $30.00 per night.
  10. 4-6 people per camp site.
  11. Maximum continuous stay of 14 days.
  12. Park attendants will check on campground and fees every morning.
  13. Camping registration must be completed before occupying site.
  14. Violations of any laws, ordinances, or rules may lead to arrest or ejection from the park.
  15. All decisions made by City or Park officials are final.

CANCELATION POLICY: 100% refund until 7 days prior to check-in. 50% percent refund 3 days prior, then 2 days prior the reservation is no longer refunded

 

DUMP STATION:

There is a dump station at the City Garage located at 415 W Spirit Ave Tomahawk, WI 54487. The station can be found behind the building. The dump station is available 24 hours but water at the station will close down mid to late October, weather depending. It is $10.00 per dump; envelopes are provided to place payment in at the station. An annual dump station permit can be purchased at City Hall (23 N 2nd St Tomahawk, WI 54487) for $25.00.

Take Exit 229 on US Highway 51, head west on State Highway 86/Somo Avenue, at the 4-way stop go straight and it will lead you to SARA Park.
